Can confirm Andrey Santos now has a UK work permit allowing him to play for Chelsea next flavor. Santos previously missed out on obtaining one by a single dot, but has now been approved by The FA.
The FA late eased the criteria for clubs to sign overseas talent. Santos would have got a work permit in January when he signed had rules been relaxed back then.?
? Ian Maatsen revealed that he would ideally like to remain at Chelsea:
“I hope to come back here and demo the fans and the manager what I am capable of. Of course, sometimes it is difficult [not knowing your future], but you try to do your best all the time, rest calm, and not stress.
Just think about football, ask a lot of questions about how to get better, how to improve yourself, and ask your teammates and help them as well.”
