Buhari has conferred the GCFR and GCON titles on Tinubu and Shettima today in Abuja where he also unofficially handed over to him. The Transition committee set up by Buhari handed over the government to Tinubu’s transition committee. Tinubu spoke at the event where he promised not disappoint Nigerians and also that whether Buhari is in Niger Republic or Daura, he will always knock his door.

Meanwhile, there are increasing tension that some Nigerians are mobilising to picket Abuja from tomorrow – they want to remain on the streets to denounce Tinubu and Shettima as their President.
