UK govt plans to limit protestation action

Rights groups have denounced the UK government’s plans to make more types of protests illegal.

The laws would give constabulary more powers to break up demonstrations and arrest protesters.

Critics say the proposals are anti-free oral communication and worse than laws enforced in totalitarian regimes.
