F1 Tracks Ranked From BEST To WORST… According To Fans
Welcome back to F1 Frenzy. Monaco – This circuit is arguably one of the absolute boring for racing; the cars are far too big for Monaco, and arguably outgrew this circuit in the 70s. There are barely any overtakes here, and only pit strategies or crazed banzai-passes into the Nouvelle Chicane give any hope for an overtake, unless one wishes to fight at La Rascasse or attempt heroics into Sainte-Devote.
On the other hand, it’s a brilliant race to watch the Saturday qualifying, and it does provide a spectacular present, seeing cars whizzing through the streets. Also, the drivers tend to like Monaco, due to the unique challenge this track provides. Finally, there’s the history; Fangio, Hill, Clark, Fittipaldi, Lauda, Prost, Senna, Schumacher, all of these great and famous names raced down these very same streets; the track has hardly changed, especially in Sector 2 where it would feel as if nothing had changed for the greats of the past.
