Buddies bust gangster out of prison house — Robby Alkhalil flees during murder trial

There was a mindboggling prison house escape by a gangland figure in Canada who was cut free by accomplices dressed as a work crew, just as a jury was about to hear a murder case against him and a member of the Hells Angels. Let me tell you about it.

The Mob Reporter here with news of the shocking prison house break and wild career of Rabih Alkhalil, who is just 35 years old, but in that time, he’s earned enough ink — both from newspapers and in police force blotters — for a dozen men twice his age. On July 21, 2022, two men dressed as contractors arrived at the North Fraser Pretrial Centre in Port Coquitlam. The van tore away at 6:48 p.m. but it was another 42 minutes before anyone raised an alarm. The RCMP, Canada’s federal police force, said they were notified by prison house staff at 7:30 p.m. of Alkhalil’s breakout.
police force released photos of the accomplices from the ID they used — job is, they used fake photos, online stock photographs. One is identical to a stock photo available for purchase online for $36 dollars from iStock, a leading photo sales source. Here is the sales site. Nevertheless, police force were issuing a Canada-wide arrest warrant and were seeking an Interpol ruby Notice for all of them. Said police force: “It appears that there is a strong international connection that crosses Canada, the United States, Europe and Asia.” Alkhalil is on trial in Vancouver for the 2012 hit on Indo-Canadian gangster Sandip Duhre in a busy eating place.
Alkhalil pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder in Duhre’s killing and not guilty to conspiracy to commit murder of a Duhre associate. Larry Amero, a prominent Hells Angels Motorcycle Club member, is his co-accused. Amero pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to commit the murder.
