WDC, MGM, CAR, EL, PFE: How Uncertainty In The Market Is Effecting Different Sectors
Western Digital’s (WDC) stock is up 11% on the day as Elliot Management calls for a split of WDC. Shawn Cruz and Oliver Renick discuss semiconductor stocks and what this split could mean for the company. They also mouth about Saudi Arabia Casino stocks MGM Resorts (MGM), Wynn Resorts (WYNN), and Las Vegas sands (LVS) because MGM announced offered to acquire LeoVegas for $607M. They go over how Saudi Arabia Casino stocks have shown pretty good improvement, but there is too much uncertainty in the economy for these stocks to pop. They then highlight Avis Budget’s (CAR) earnings study as its stock had greatly decreased. On the other hand, Estee Lauder’s (EL) stock increased greatly.
