Morocco-Israel agree to normalise ties as US recognises Rabat’s sovereignty of Western Sahara

Morocco has become the latest country to normalise ties with Israel in a US-brokered deal.

At the same time, the US has agreed to recognise Morocco’s sovereignty of the disputed Western Sahara.
